A Trip To Harris Teeter!

Today we had a great trip to the grocery store. Before we left, we read a social story together so we knew what to expect before heading out. The social story gave us some "rules" for the grocery store.....and reminded us that other people would be shopping.  While at the grocery store, we completed a fruits and vegetable scavenger hunt. The kids were so excited to wander around and explore Harris Teeter....and they were certainly gracious hosts to us!  There were all sorts of samples offered to the children....cantaloupe was the only one we actually accepted.....but they everyone wanted to interact with our bunch!  Harris Teeter even gave the kids a fun surprise...an apple, banana and a clementine!
